A concerned netizen wrote a heartfelt, open-letter to Singaporeans urging them to take ownership of their lives by voting out the PAP at the next General Elections (GE).
Many have anticipated the GE to be this year. However with the attention on COVID-19 now, the GE is the last think on Singaporeans' minds. However, not all Singaporeans have forgotten about the GE.
The netizen who claimed to be in her 30s was certain in her belief that "the only true way for Singapore to move forward was to vote the PAP out".
For her, Singapore doesn't need the PAP. She accused the PAP of continually repackaging the same old nonsense and serving it to the people.
She also took umbrage at the PAP for fostering a society that is skewed to the elites. She added that "Our medical needs arent being taken care of. And yet we pay sky high medisave rates. Our elderly are being forced to work till they die, they cant enjoy their golden years in peace".
Lamenting the state of our society, she opined that we have a very broken system here.
She's had enough and she hoped that Singaporeans shared her sentiments. She's had enough. She's no longer content to be a pawn.
