A van driver suffered serious head injuries after he lost of the van he was driving and collided with a tree at West Coast Road on 31 December. A video of the van driver sitting unconscious went viral, with some men heard trying to wake him up.
The van was also shown to be badly smashed, with the driver side the worst hit. Police have also confirmed that they received a call for help on 31 December at 7:56 am about an accident along West Coast Road towards Penjuru Road. According to reports, his wife have also confirmed that the man is currently in ICU, although his exact injuries were not reported.
Police are currently investigating the crash.
