Singaporeans were met with yet another onslaught of train delays thanks to SMRT. This morning, rush hour crowds were treated to a "surprise" track fault along the East-West Line. Passengers were told to factor in additional 30 minutes' travelling time as they were left stranded and cramped from Jurong East to Queenstown stations.

SMRT said that train services resumed close to 8am and apologised for affecting the morning commute.

But are Singaporeans appeased? Obviously not. Can SMRT avoid future train delays? Obviously not. Will the government blame themselves for their inadequacy and for disrupting our lives? Obviously not.

SMRT: A lesson for Singaporeans to suck it up and move on.
