A male driver has been arrested by the police after the car he was driving crashed into a bollard at the Marina Bay Financial Centre on Monday evening. 3 women pedestrians and one male passenger was taken injured to the Singapore General Hospital.
The 25 year old man was arrested for causing grievous hurt by a negligent act. It was not known how serious the injuries that the 4 people suffered were, but eye witnesses account said at least one woman pedestrian had to be moved out from under the car. Witnesses also said they heard loud screeching sounds followed by a loud bang and a woman screaming.
It was also apparent that the car had knocked down one metal bollard over the pavement, to indicate how strong the impact of the crash was.
