A 56 year old lady just graduated with a degree in electrical and electronic engineering from our very own Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Choo Siew Eng celebrated this milestone with her son by her side. She graduated 40 years after she started work as a technician with only her 'O' Levels. She decided to go back to school after retirement since her kids have all grown up.
She has two kids - a 30 year old son and a 25 year old daughter.
From her experience, she said:
“NTU has taught me to think deeper and look at things from multiple perspectives before coming up with solutions. It’s taught me to think out of the box to solve problems.”
