AVA have recalled all the iceberg lettuse sold at NTUC and Sheng Shiong supermarkets. The lettuce were imported from Malaysia, and were found to have a large amount of pesticide.

AVA also confirmed that this type of lettuce was brought in by Go Fresh Impex, and were for sale at only the two supermarket chains. The importer have been instructed by AVA to recall the lettuce, and the process is currently ongoing. 

Both supermarket chains have confirmed that the lettuce have been removed from their shelves, and advised consumers to dispose of the lettuce if they have it in their possession.
