The recent food poisoning case which involved food catered from Spize have unfortunately taken one victim away forever. The SATS officer who was warded in a critical condition in ICU with lung and kidney failures have died on Wednesday.
Reports cited that the man who passed away was SATS officer Mr Fadli Salleh, who was married with two young children. He had been warded in the ICU of Sengkang General Hospital in critical condition, and was one of 72 people affected after bento sets prepared by Spize's River Valley outlet last Tuesday. This was fora Deepavali event organised by security company Brink's Singapore, and was held at its premises in Kaki Bukit. Mr Fadli was attached to Brink's Singapore, and did not involve SATS.
MOH added that as of Wednesday evening, nine people are still hospitalised because of the issue, but 36 have been discharged. Mr Fadli's death is being investigated by the coroner. Spize's River Valley outlet is still suspended pending investigations by MOH, NEA and AVA.
