How are we going to form an opposition coalition if people are unhappy with each other?
A few days ago, Reform Party's Kenneth Jeyaretnam took to Facebook to vent his frustration with Workers Party's Leon Perera. The latter had called RP a "fringe party" after knowing that it attended an overseas meeting without other opposition politicians. It is uncertain if there was indeed some prejudice in this but it does not bode well for Singaporeans if our opposition parties engage in petty online spats.
What's going to happen? Can't they reconcile for the sake of building a more united voice that truly represents Singaporeans?
