A netizen suggested that SMRT collaborate with Yamaha and other music agencies to encourage Singaporeans to showcase their talent in MRT stations. He said that they should "work together to have a piano installed at Orchard MRT station" and invite people to perform.
He was of the view that performers should not accept donations. In the case where people insist on giving money, they should go to charities.
It is not sure what he is trying to achieve but it is quite impossible SMRT will take on the idea. Not when it does not help to drive revenue.
How much more naive do Singaporeans want to be? They can continue hoping but the harsh reality is, in Singapore, no money no talk.
