Five teens got themselves into trouble for what they would think was a funny prank. The five, aged between 16 years old and 18 years old, was arrested by the police after they were found hiding in Ikea Tampines after the store had closed for the day.
Police was alerted to trespass at the location in Tampines North at around 12:52 am on Sunday. Officers from the Bedok Police Division were dispatched and they located the boys and had them arrested. Police said the teens were hiding in the store after opening hours, but it was not known what they were doing there.
This could be a dare or a prank gone wrong, and the teens may face fines of up to $1,000 each.
