The National University of Singapore (NUS) have lost its top spot as the top university in Asia, losing its place to China's Tsinghua University. NUS also dropped into 23 in the world rankings, down one place from last year.
NUS had been the top university in Asia for three years running, before losing its crown this year. However, the NUS president was quoted in media to still be pleased that NUS are no longer number 1 in Asia, as he said that being second place still shows NUS are recognised among the leading universities in the world and in Asia.
Well done, NUS?
