Local designer duo ZZ made a Facebook post talking about the mourning pins which they have designed. The mourning pins were meant to be a symbol of respect for the fallen NSFs over the years. The pins had the same pixelated camo prints from our army number 4 uniforms. The pins were also packaged in a similar manner like items you can found in a eMart.

Mourning pins are generally called (xiao) and are normally used at Chinese funerals. Sentiments about the pins were split into two camps - those who felt that the meaning behind the pins were significant and those that feel that they were being disrespectful to Chinese culture.
