What would you do if you receive news of a pet boarding house lost your beloved pet? That's what happened to one Elaine Mao. Mao cut her holiday short and flew all the way back to Singapore just to get her dog back. The owner of the dog boarding house, Platinum Dogs Club, basically ignored Mao even when she knelt down beside her for some simple information. The owner also allegedly knocked down a 40 year old man with her car when he was with Mao at the time. The man was taken to a hospital after.
This is not the first case with Platinum Dogs Club. Previous incidents include the dogs being mistreated and not groomed. Dogs all returned to their owners with skin problems due to dirty living conditions. One Jack Russel even lost it's life after a stay there. A raid on the boarding house was held on 29 December 2018 by the police, AVA and SPCA.

Prince is not found in this area yet, please let’s expand the searching area. We live nearby St. Michaels on Serangoon Road. There may be a chance that he is heading home. We also hang out at Botanic Gardens sometimes, so he may be familiar with the cafe there.Status update on searching tasks:
1 (Remote): Keep engaging Ava (aka all government agencies which are related) etc. Seek for their help - update them on daily basis, we keep tracking the posts been shared and emails/calls following up. It is so far taken care by Matt
2 (Remote): Keep engaging media (Zaobao Wanbao, yahoo news, TV news, 新加坡眼, etc) updated. Seek for more public attention to this case and help us out the poster on mass media - so far Zaobao Wanbao, 新加坡眼 has been with us closely on the case. Salome and Myself are taking care of this.
3 (Remote): Gather info on fb and posts, to let the people running around in the fields know about the location updates, any clues, etc. - Awesome people all around are on this, Matt and I will update the map the soonest once we are off here.
4 (Remote): update google map with our photos and marks where we have searched, put posters, put food and clothes. - The same as above
5 (Remote): make petition forms for people to sign (paper and online) - pending
6 (Remote) contact grab, comfort, foodpanda, Deliveroo, honestbee, etc. Who has delivery services around to help
7 (Field): Put posters to neighbourhood buildings and notice board, talk to local communities, security Guards, ask them to help locally - we have posters up along the route and nearby neighbourhood. Matt and I will update the location infor the soonest today
8 (Field): can ask them to sign petition while talking and handing over posters - pending
9 (Field): search for prince and put down our clothes and his food and take Geo-tagged photo (enable location info on your camera/phone while taking photos) of where it is put

11: filed police report on Monday midnight once we touched down the land of SG, will update or file another one against this @Charlotte Liew, as she has stolen our dog, no evidence of Prince running out of the house on his own, but her being seen smuggled dog out (with evidence).
12: talking to AC, get as many clues as possible. As I am being desperated to get Prince back, any clue is precious, especially those what leads towards our reunion directly
13:Background of the case:
Day -2, I inspected this place with Prince together. It was clean and fully airconed, just a bit pee on the pad, a fe w poop outside in the yard that she said she would do after our meeting. She showed us the private room which Prince will be checked in and told us the dog (the tall and skinny female shown in the newspaper) is checking out on 16th before Prince checking in. I paid her in full $945 for Prince stay.
Day -1, Prince had his full checkup, vaccines. We found that he has joint issue due to aging and brought home supplements and start planning rehabilitation treatment for him upon our return.
Day 0, Prince checked in.
Day 1, I asked for video, didn’t receive
Day 2, video received around 6am with bright daylight
Day 3-6 no news/ photo/ video at all
Day 7: video received around 9:30pm still with bright daylight
Day 8-13:
Day 14: around 2-4pm, AVA raid the place
Day 15: at about 1:30-2pm, Charlotte Liew text me that Prince went missing because AVA broke into her house illegally, AVA let the gate open while they were in operation and one aggressive big dog and my Prince ran out through the gate. She told me to file police report against AVA and complain. She admitted that no one was at the house when AVA were there, which is not as she promised “24x7, on 2-3 shifts with staff”
I quickly posted on FB asking for help to find Prince and sent friends down to talk to her to get more info
Friends went down, she was not there, dogs are barking inside.
AVA and I got connected, I was told Prince wasn’t there when they entered. Not even one Shetland sheepdog had been
I changed our flights back as the earliest available on the next day
Day 16: we flew back and landed midnight and filed police report at airport
2am, we rushed to PDC from airport but she ran away 10min before we could arrive. We had Friend who were helping us got harassed you her while she called police and claiming she was harassed. Police tried to ask her to stay or answer to my calls (i was calling her, trying to get help and info on how Prince was and where possible he had gone). However, she declined and ignored all my calls and ran away knowing that I am on the way to meet her. As it’s not criminal case, police could not force her and gave us legal advice. Charlotte
Liew, as mentioned in my WhatsApp, we don’t want to do any harm to you, we just want our Prince back and understand how you treated him and what his status was when he has gone missing.
Without any hope of she appear to us, we left and start search and put down clothes stripes and food for prince around the spotted area, talked to the security Guards, runners, people at Coffeeshop. It was too heartbreaking that I tried all types of calling, but just can’t see my Prince running back to me with his smile. I had a few times of breakdown but with the great support from the search group and everyone, I stay strong. I have to be strong to get my Prince back, he is frightened and he is waiting for me to bring him home
Day 17: we printed more posters, made plans and tasks with search group and victims group. We continued our search and calling Charlotte Liew.
Prince was spotted at Bukit Gombak Stadium at about 5pm, and then Coronation Park at 11plus, but still wasn’t found after few rounds of searching in those areas. We left posters around hoping people can find him and call us.
Day 18: still no news from Charlotte Liew, but we will continue with our search and focus on Prince, call for more help!!!If anyone recently purchased a Sheltie like this, please let me know, I'll pay you whatever you have paid for Prince. I just cannot lose him. He means more than anything to me.

Prince has been licensed for next 3 years, with a name tag on his neck. He has also microchip in him. He is a male, tri-color, pure breed Shetland sheepdog.
Prince has never been out without us and hence doesn’t know at all how to deal with traffic. He responds to his name and he knows how to go back home (regent residences on 1091 Serangoon Road)
