An accident involving two taxis took place at Toa Payoh Central on Monday afternoon, April Fool's Day. But no one's fooling around in this accident, as one of the taxis ended up going to the foot of a HDB block near the accident scene.
A 62 year old taxi driver was taken to hospital, in the accident that happened at a taxi stand in Toa Payoh along a service road. It was understood that the accident happened about 12:14pm, and one of the taxi ended up at the foot of HDB block 175. There was an NTUC trolley seen under the cab, but thankfully, no passers-by were hurt in the accident.
Police confirmed that the accident only involved the two taxis, and that investigations are still ongoing.
