Before you can even ask what else in Singapore can go up, it was announced that two ERP gantries, one located at CTE, and another at KPE, will have its rates increased starting today, 6 May.
LTA has announced that the rates will increase at these two locations to ease the traffic congestion there during peak period. The first gantry, located in the direction of the CBD on the CTE at Braddell Road will have to pay $2 instead of $1 between the time of 8:30am to 9:00am. The second gantry is located at the KPE near Defu flyover, heading towards central Singapore. The rate for this particular gantry will now be $4 instead of $3, and from the same timing of 8:30am to 9:00am.
So, once again, prices are going up. You can be sure this will not be the last revision of ERP rates.
