On 6 Aug 2018 at about 7.45am, parts of a ceiling beam and the sewer pipes from the second floor of a drop off point at MDIS Residences@Stirling were dislodged and dropped to the ground. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the incident.
MDIS has since responded to the unfortunate incident and have cordoned off the area to ensure safety measures re put in place. MDIS also claims to conduct regular maintenance for their buildings and facilities. They have also called in contractors to inspect the site and conduct a thorough investigation.
