A 35 year old biker was killed on the spot while three other bikers were injured in an accident at Woodlands checkpoint on Monday morning. It was reported that in the accident, which happened around 5:30 in the morning, the 35 year old biker lost control of his bike and collided into the barricades at the arrival area just before the immigration clearance.
Two other motorbikes could not stop in time and collided into the 35 year old. Paramedics who arrived a the scene pronounced the 35 year old dead on the spot. The three other involved in the accident was conveyed to Khoo Teck Phuat Hospital.
Investigations are still ongoing as to the cause of the accident.
