A 15 month old baby and the maid accompanying the baby in a taxi were both taken to hospital after the taxi they were in collided with a lorry at the junction of Guillemard Road and Guillemard Crescent on Friday night.
Photos of the accident showed the taxi had mounted a kerb. Police said that they were alerted to the accident at 10:19pm on Friday, and both passengers taken to hospital were conscious. The maid was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, while the baby was taken to KKH. It was understood that the maid suffered from pains on her left hand and head, while the injuries to the 15 month old baby was not made known.
The cause of the accident was also not reported, while Police investigations are ongoing.
