Facebook user Shannon Lim brought his pet chicken to a KFC at Waterway Point, Punggol. The outlet manager of the KFC requested for Lim to not bring in the chicken as the “Muslims would be offended”.
Lim also tried to explain to the manager that the chicken was not a dog. Furthermore, it is a myth that Muslims are not allowed to touch dogs. You can read more about it here: https://www.muis.gov.sg/officeofthemufti/Irsyad/English-Advisory-on-Guide-Dogs
Lim then complied after trying to explain for a minute and left it outside of the restaurant in it's carrier where he got to watch a group of Chinese, Malay and Indian kids try to steal the chicken and/or take selfies with it.
My only question is.. Why would anybody in Singapore have a pet chicken?
