A female e-scooter rider has died after she was involved in an accident with a bus at Woodlands Avenue 6 on Friday morning. Eyewitnesses said the woman ended up under the rear wheel of the bus after the accident.
Police confirmed that a 39 year old woman was hit by the bus when the bus was turning in to a carpark near Admiralty Place. The accident happened at around 9am, and the woman was taken unconscious to the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The 60 year old bus driver is assisting the police with investigations.
Eyewitnesses also said that paramedics were seen giving CPR to the victim.
