An 60 year-old man has been missing for two days. He was last seen at Golden Mile in a black t-shirt and dark-coloured long pants. The man has dementia and is probably roaming around without a phone or any money.

A police report has been made. Those who have seen him are encouraged to contact his granddaughter below or call 999.

Let's hope he is safe!

Beware of this perverted man! He allegedly harasses young women on the train by leaning on them while pretending to sleep. In a Facebook post on 11 Oct, JingWen Ho talked about her encounter with the man and his repeated tactics on other victims.

"I was on the North-South (red) line home. I was sitting on the 3rd seat from the priority seat, and there was an empty seat to my right. This guy, wearing a checked shirt, strolled from the previous cabin and sat down beside me. He started manspreading and (pretended to) fall asleep. Within minutes, he inched closer to me and was leaning to his left, to the point where I was literally occupying the left half of my seat to avoid physical contact with him. He was using his backpack to rub his crotch area up and down while he clutched onto his pants, as he was in the act of leaning towards me. It got to the point where I was unable to move anymore, and shifted to another seat where there was no vacant seats beside me. He pretended to sleep for the next 5 minutes or so, before he stood up and moved down the cabin to the next empty seat, beside the 2nd victim. Likewise, he executed the same actions towards her, and she too, moved to another seat".

The man alighted at Jurong East station after sensing that he was exposed. The first victim alighted with him and alerted the station staff about it, but by the time they got to the platform, he was already gone.

According to JingWen Ho, another victim who read her post told her that the same man had harassed her as long as 4 years ago. How is it that this pervert is still on the loose? Although a police report has been made, commuters may want to keep a lookout to prevent him from harassing more women!

Singaporeans going to Korea, be careful. An apartment by the name of Cynosure Studio in Myeong-dong has been scamming its customers through Booking.com when it doesn't even exist!

Malaysian "Xavier Aranggoi Maurice" posted about his bad experience on Facebook. The "owner" of the apartment, Eric, was quick to ask for full payment after Xavier made a booking. He was told to transfer RM$4760, which is about S$1500k, for 8 nights at the accommodation. Eric said that his booking will be cancelled if he did not pay up within 24 hours.

He only realised that something was wrong after failing to receive a confirmation. On top of that, his booking got cancelled. When asked for an explanation, Eric simply brushed the matter off by saying that he did not work there anymore.

Too bad for Xavier, money paid is money lost. In fact, he was not the only one who got ripped off. Many people left reviews saying that Cynosure Studio does not exist and it was a scam. So be careful not to fall into the trap, or any trap in general!

A former parking officer skipped doing actual work, that is to go to carparks to issue summons to errant motorist, just because she claimed she had to take care of her sick grandmother during work hours. In order to cover for her absences from work, she turned up just to collect the handheld scanner and a daily patrol accountability form from her supervisor.

Afterwards, she did not even bother to check for vehicles parked illegally at the Choa Chu Kang carparks she was tasked to work at. Instead, she randomly entered registration numbers of vehicles without season parking tickets into an electronic record system, with the vehicles not even confirmed to have been parked at the carpark where the alleged offences took place.

She issued summonses totaling more than $1,000 to 30 or more vehicles, where 16 motorists actually paid up a total of $304. She was finally exposed when a summon was issued to a driver who had not even driven her car and police were notified. For the scam, 33 year old Noorasimah Jasman was sentenced to four weeks jail. She had also lost her job as a parking officer.

The infamous Parrot Man of Singapore was up to his shenanigans again over the weekend, this time at Geylang Serai. According to the Police, they received call for public assistance on Saturday morning on October 13 about a man who was asking for money at 1 Geylang Serai.

Police said that when their officer tried to engage the Parrot Man, Mr Zeng Guoyan, he became uncooperative and refused to comply with the Police officers despite being given repeated warnings. Police finally had enough and arrested him. During the arrest, he allegedly turned violent and hurt two police officers. According to Police statements, he had been disrupting the peace and making a nuisance of himself over the past few weeks, and complaints against him have been made by the public.

Police investigations are ongoing against the Parrot Man, who once wanted to run for elections in the 2011 GE and Presidential Election, as well as the Hougang and Punggol East by-elections in 2012 and 2013.

The old woman who made headlines as the Ferrari driver who thinks the whole world should bow down to her is finally heading to jail. 73-year-old Shi Ka Yee was sentenced to a total of six week jail for multiple offences she committed between 2014 to 2017.

The sentence included a four week jail term for hitting a motorist at Telok Ayer Road in 2014. Among other offences she committed were wrongful confinement, committing a rash act to endanger the safety of a person, drink driving, and obstructing traffic. Apart from the six week jail term, she was also disqualified from driving for 20 months, and fined $4,500.

She will begin her jail term on 25 October.
