Lorry Driver Who Knocked Down Cyclist In Road Rage Incident To Be Jailed

However, news just broke that the lorry driver might be jailed for at least 2 weeks. He will be facing charges for not making a police report within 24 hours of a car accident and also the charge of acting rashly to cause hurt.
Under the penal code, not making a police report within 24 hours of a car accident can get him a maximum punishment of either a fine of S$1,000 or a jail term o three months. The charge of acting rashly to cause hurt can get him a punishment of an imprisonment term of one year, or a fine of S$5,000 or both.
