Both Singapore and Vietnam were being considered to host the second Trump Kim Summit.

Trump Kim Summit Part 2, Singapore And Vietnam Shortlisted

The summit will be hosted by Hanoi this time round on 27-28 February as stated by Donald Trump in his tweet. They will be continuing the nuclear talks.

Vietnam has close diplomatic relations with both the United States and North Korea. Are you glad that it is not happening in Singapore again?

Despite being the subject of a viral video, Go-jek passenger Jovina Choi, who thought she was kidnapped, is insistent that she was right. In a series of exchanges with the mainstream media, Jovina said that there was no misunderstanding from the start.

She was frustrated at the driver for taking a more expensive route even though she already told him not to. She was certain that there are routes that do not incur ERP charges.

"We did not come to an agreement in Bishan and I asked him to return me to pick-up point or drop me at any safe spot but he refused to drop me off while we were still in Bishan."

Meanwhile, the Go-jek driver was interviewed by LTA and is awaiting its decision. He is, to many netizens' relief, still allowed to continue driving.

It is unfair that Jovina got away with nothing but who's to say, it must not be easy for her to go out these days.

A Chinese lady, Regina Chin, took to Facebook to ask a question - whether Muslims can sit at places where a dog has sat on.

According to her, she had two dogs with her who was sitting on a public chair while she was getting her IU fixed at STA. A Malay lady then comes along to tell her off for letting her dogs sit on the chairs.

Regina also questions why Muslims can receive money or even receive organs or blood even though they have come into contact with dogs.

What do you think of this issue? Can Muslims sit on places where a dog has sat on before? Or was the Chinese lady being insensitive?

SingPost has finally been fined $100,000 by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) for failing to meet service standards. This is the highest amount it has been fined following a series of service failures in 2017. The IMDA is also reviewing its delivery standards in 2018 and will come up with a statement mid-2019.

SingPost has recently been under fire for discarding residents' letters in the bin and making haphazard deliveries. A postman has also been arrested.

They have since apologised and taken immediate measures such as employing 100 postmen to help with the workload. Its Chief Executive Officer said: "We deeply apologise to our customers for our service failures. We have heard their complaints and feedback; we feel their frustrations and seek to win back their trust."

Apology aside, it is unacceptably late that SingPost is only taking action now. How accountable are they to Singaporeans if they are scrambling to prevent failures only after being fined? What have they been doing to prevent lapses over the past two years?

SingPost cannot simply attribute their under-performance to an increasing workload. It will not placate Singaporeans. Busy or not, they are responsible to constantly think of solutions and not push the problem to Singaporeans.

A pity to the overworked postmen but seriously, SingPost really needs to get a grip. Otherwise, what's the point of having a mail service that cannot deliver?

I'm sure many of you remember the GoJek Uncle who got accused of kidnapping one Jovina Choi after going through an ERP. Well, while many of us are in support of him, Jovina Choi has decided to lodge a complaint against him with LTA. If found guilty, the abang will get his license revoked together with a fine.

For those who need a refresher on the video:

We hope that the abang will not get charged and lose his rice bowl of course.

This particular GrabFood rider decided to donate his canceled order to a homeless man. A customer canceled an order of Mcdonald's when he was already on his way. So he decided to pass on the food to a homeless man residing at Taman Jurong.

The rider posted the photo of the homeless man on a Facebook group, GrabFood Delivery Rider Singapore with the caption
