The Online Citizen had a fundraising event on Saturday, 6 July 2019. The event was held at FiftyRafflesPlace. The event was attended by many opposition party members such as Pritam Singh, Daniel Goh, Leon Perera and Dennis Tan from the Worker's Party. Members from other opposition parties such as Tan Cheng Bock, Chee Soon Juan, Lim Tean can be seen at the event too.

Our Prime Minister's own brother and his wife was at the event too.

The Online Citizen's operator, Terry Xu mentioned that the website did not manage to raise enough funds to last three months from the event. However, this gathering of opposition parties and civil activists is the first of its kind. 

And of course, despite being a first of these gatherings, our mainstream media has done no reporting on it. Great.

Youth Catches A School Boy Touching Himself To A Girl On The Bus

This time, another pervert was caught walking around Clarke Quay bottomless, touching himself. 

A netizen shared this on her Instastory after seeing the guy to help warn others of this man. Redditporeans took a screenshot and put it on r/Singapore to spread the news. According to the thread starter, a police report has been made. 

We hope that his actions have been dealt with and nobody else have to go through something traumatic like this.

Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan announced that there has been an improvement in the Mean Kilometres Between Failure (MKBF) for the oldest train tracks, North-South and East-West Lines.

During a visit to Kranji MRT station to check on the power system renewal project, Minister Khaw said:

As the old assets got replaced and upgraded, the East-West Line’s MKBF has gone up, from more than 400,000 train-km in 2018 to now nearly 700,000 train-km. Meanwhile, the North-South Line (NSL) has shown even better results. Its MKBF has now exceeded my 1 million train-km target ... now 1.4 million train-km, making it as reliable as top metros like the Taipei Metro and Hong Kong MTR.

Up until 2014, the MKBF for both lines hovered below 100,000 train-km, he pointed out.

He reiterated that the 1 million MKBF target it set for itself is a demanding one, and only a handful of metros around the world have achieved it consistently. The Downtown Line, North East Line and NSL have now crossed the target, and the other rail lines here are not far behind, added the minister.

Netters were quick to give their feedbacks on this piece of news. Some netters mentioned that Minister Khaw spoke too soon and that there will be major breakdowns happening soon. Others said that the Minister should not boast about the improvements done as train operators are expected to provide the highest service standard for customers. 

A boy was caught by Twitter user Kurt Mikhail, @froyokurt, for masturbating to a girl on the bus. He detailed the whole incident on his Twitter thread. In the videos posted by him, Kurt can also be seen blocking the masturbator from approaching the girl who was clearly frightened by his actions. Kurt contacted the authorities and stopped the masturbator from getting off the bus when he tried to. 

The girl then managed to get off the bus to safety and her parents even came down to thank Kurt for his actions.

What a hero. Would you sit back and watch or stand up and act against such acts if it were you?

A Foodpanda customer, Jasmine, was cheated $34.10 by a Foodpanda delivery rider who said that he met with an accident while delivering Jasmine's food. According to Jasmine, she ordered food from Popeye's Waterway Point using Foodpanda at 7PM. The scheduled delivery time was supposed to be at 730PM but at 8PM, Jasmine was still waiting for her food. When she checked the status of her order at 8PM, the Foodpanda app showed that her food was delivered at 745PM but she has still not gotten it at 8PM. 

The delivery rider came limping at 815PM to deliver food to Jasmine with some scrap blood on his kneessaying he got in an accident at Oasis Primary School. He said a Mercs driver had hit his escooter and our order got damaged so badly. Then the Mercs driver drove off (like a hit and run accident) then he claimed he went back to Popeyes to help us reorder our food.

So he was asking Jasmine to pay him cash for the 2nd order and that FoodPanda will pay Jasmine back within 6 days. When Foodpanda service team asked the rider whether he took Jasmine's money, he claimed that he did not.

The details of this rider is, he is about 20-30years old, Chinese male with tattoos all over his legs, he was wearing lots of gold rings, gold bracelet and necklace. Those staying at Punggol please be aware. He might be using other apps to do this cheating scam. It might not be the first time since he had done that.

Because the focus should be on the thefts. And definitely not of Grabfood's image. 

The most important lesson here is that the two past incidents already exposed a new trend of theft unknowingly. Anyone delivering things to your doorstep could be a potential thief.

So now it's better to take precautions... buy door cams,cctvs or keep your stuff inside your homes.

In response to the latest incident, a Grab spokesman said: "We are aware of this and are investigating the matter.

"Grab does not condone such behaviour and will ban delivery-partners who are found guilty."
