Lee Hsien Yang's second son, Li HuanWu just got married in South Africa with his boyfriend. The couple has been seen at the Pink Dot event numerous times and even appeared on a LGBT themed photography campaign in July last year.

They have always advocated for the LGBT community and they finally got married in South Africa. The announcement was made by his husband, Heng Yi Rui on his Instagram.

Asked about his son's nuptials, Lee Hsien Yang said "I believe my father would have been thrilled to know this."

We wish the happy couple a blissful marriage!

Some people do not exercise personal responsibility even after becoming parents.

A woman complained in a Facebook post about an irresponsible mother who brought her children, both of whom had HFMD, to a playground to play.

"When your kids have HFMD, please be more responsible. Keep your kids away from playgrounds! I wonder what this mum was thinking. Bringing her kids who have HFMD to the playground and posting it on social media?!? I wonder if people actually know how HFMD is spread. There is a reason why those with HFMD are not allowed to go to school."

Sharp-eyed commenters recognised the playground to be the one at Blk 782D Woodlands Crescent Meadow. It was also said to be frequented by other preschoolers.

GG. What was she thinking?

Care to save a life? A man is urgently looking for liver donors to save his father from end-stage liver disease. Doctors think that he may have a week left to live.

The poor man's liver failure has caused 10 litres of water to be trapped inside his body. His belly continues to bloat as his condition worsens progressively.

His son is trying to reach out to as many people as he can because his blood group is incompatible.

"Please help my father if you meet these criteria:
- Blood group O
- age 21 to 55
- weight of 75kg to 95kg

The liver is an organ that can regenerate. Your kindness will mean everything to my father. Every single day he is sufferring from the after effects of a failing liver. I am by his side everyday and he is perpetually in pain, and he cannot eat or drink or sleep. He desperately needs someone who can save him.

We already exhausted all possible options. He needs a compatible donor."

Please help.

Are customers always right? A man complained about his bad experience after missing his flight in Vietnam.

He was about to catch a flight from Ho Chi Minh City but reached 50 minutes before the departure time. He was confused to find that the counters have closed and the staff all gone.

He then scrambled to ask someone from another counter for help but claimed to be met with zero sympathy.

The staff "simply said 'sorry, the counter has closed' and just wouldn’t go further to assist despite my pleading. As a result, I missed the flight and a very important meeting in the afternoon."

That was still ok for him.

He proceeded to book a later flight and while checking in, asked the counter staff for help with regards to the incident which took place earlier in the day. That was when he got more pissed off.

He said that the staff was rude, impatient and did not want to serve him. He claimed that she had rolled her eyes when he was recounting what happened and had refused to help him. She could not offer him assistance as she was not responsible for anything during the morning shift.

"I made a point to tell her that she wasn’t handling the case well."

The man had it when she did not want to give him her name to aid in his complaint.

"I threatened to call someone from senior management in Singapore Airlines / Scoot on the spot and asked her, 'is this how you really want this to be resolved' and, finally she reluctantly relented."

Then the worst happened. He was incensed when he read Scoot's response as it did not acknowledge the staff's mistake. On the other hand, it informed him that he was at fault for being late and that it was not obligated to refund him for that.

It explained that it is natural for ground staff to vacate from their positions 50 minutes before departure time and assured him that the staff in question had performed her duties well enough.

"[T]heir customer service just found a way to make it even worse with their response."

At the end of everything, they did not get the problem resolvd. But hey, it sure isn't the first time an impatient customer met with an impatient service staff.

Too bad, perhaps it was all meant to be.

It is now possible to have free lunches in Singapore. A vegetarian food service called Mummy Yummy Singapore has embarked on a new project to recruit homeless people for its F&B business.

The project, V4vegetarian, was initiated by 3 brothers who wanted to hire homeless people and give them a new chance at life. They met with difficulties along the way but Mummy Yummy has since taken over and will be launching a free food project in the neighbourhood.

"Starting from 1st June 2019, 'V4vegetarian' will provide FREE food for everyone from Mondays to Fridays 7am - 2pm. Weekends will be closed.

Our long term goal for this hawker project is to open up more stalls around Singapore and make it convenient for everyone who needs food to get them without prejudice judgment from other people."

Those who think that the project is a good idea and wish to contribute may do so to the Tips Box that will be set up at 503 West Coast Market stall #34.

What a nice thing to do. Looks like Singaporeans can only trust ourselves to help each other now.
