We've met our fair share of rude taxi drivers. If you haven't, you're incredibly lucky.

Unfortunately for a man's wife, she met one rude taxi driver who started berating her just for taking a taxi to Tanah Merah from Changi Airport after her flight. The taxi driver wasn't happy that the ride was just such a short distance away. Not only did the taxi driver acted rudely, he even refused to open the boot for the lady to claim her luggage and drove a short distance away just to make the lady walk towards his car again to claim it.

How rude can you be! She is still paying for your service. How can you do such a thing? You can read the full story here below:

My Wife came back to Singapopre and Boarded a Trans-cab taxi from Changi Airport Terminal 2 on 14th June 2019 at around 6.20pm. The car plate number was SHD5184D, but she did not noted down the driver’s name. He seemed to be in his fifties wearing sunglasses. The moment she got onto the cab and told him her address at Tanah Merah, he was very unhappy n buay "song " and expressed his dismay n frustration at the fact the destination is so close to the airport. He spoke loudly and rudely, subsequently giving an attitude throughout the whole ride by driving very fast and making sharp turns. When she reached the location and tried to direct him to her house, he snapped at her in mandarin, saying “Can’t you see there is another car!” She never rushed him to move the car but was just giving directions. Upon arriving he immediately chided “Pay money (还钱 )!” in mandarin again and after she paid, he just threw the change in a container making a loud noise. The worst part was that when she alighted and tried to get her luggage , he stayed inside the taxi and refused to open the car boot . Despite her knocking on the window several times and trying to ask him to open it, he refused to budge and had the audacity to move off with her luggage still in car. He travelled a short distance then stopped, making her walk towards his car to get him to open the boot again. She dared not stay behind the Taxi for fear that he might suddenly reverse n knock her down . It took him another few minutes before he bothered to get out of the taxi to open the boot and let her get her heavy luggage without helping her . She was very horrified and disgusted at his attitude at this point so she told him that she would be lodging a complaint for his impudent behaviour. The driver yelled profanities at her instead, daring her to file a complaint. He said “if you don’t complain, you’re a bastard” ( 你不投诉 你是乌龟王八蛋 ) in mandarin before he drove off.

I will be Calling Trans-cab to look into this incident and complain about this ill-mannered gangster behaviour of the driver. I really hope that other passengers do not have to deal with such a ridiculous gangster driver anymore.

He is not Fit to be a TAXI DRIVER . I am deeply disappointed by the service that was provided by this Trans-cab driver. I will be calling the customer feedback hotline tomorrow to make a complaint.

I will be sending an email to Transcab n LTA as well so that serious action can be taken.

Jewel Changi has been the talk of the town since plans for building it came out. Many were excited for their attractions such as the sky nets and indoor garden which were released on 10 June.

A lady, June Neo, went to try out the Manulife Sky Net - Walking.

Unfortunately for her, she got her foot stuck in one of the holes of the net and fell. Her hand also suffered a big cut. She took to Facebook to talk about her own experience and warned parents bringing their kids there to be careful. She also claims that if she didn't wear pants, her legs might have ended up like her hand as well.

Despite her injuries, she still thanked the first aider who attended to her.

So now you know, be careful when you're out there having fun!

Parents please take note when you bring your kids to Changi Jewel, Manulife Sky Nets - Walking. The ropes are tough, the holes are big enough for adults foot to go through and stuck in there.
I fell as my foot stuck and my hand had a big cut. I am lucky that I am wearing pants, if not my legs will end up like my hand. So only slight abrasion to my legs and also bruises on my arm. Even sitting down or lying down on the ropes are also painful.
Ensure your kids are wearing pants. Maybe wearing gloves is a good idea.
Thanks to the first aider who attended to me.

Low crime doesn't mean no crime in Singapore. A man just robbed a shop in Far East Plaza, HJ Luxury. The snatch thief allegedly made away with two real diamond encrusted Rolex watches which amounted up to $150,000.

In the video shared by Three Crowns Jewellery and Watch Pte Ltd showed a man sprinting out of a shop with shopkeepers giving chase. You can watch the video here:

The man has since not been caught. Police reports has been made and they are currently looking for any witnesses to the crime.

Those with any information can call the Police hotline at 1800-255-0000 or submit any information they have online at www.police.gov.sg/iwitness.

I'm sure many of us make use of ride hailing services to get home, especially after a long night out with friends. A girl, Woo, took a ride hailing service home after a night out with her boyfriend and friends. Her trip is supposed to be from Bugis to Sengkang, where she stays. Sharing her ride was another lady who was going to Yishun.

She claimed that she should have been dropped off first before the guy can head off to Yishun as that would be the easier route to take. However, she realized that the driver headed to Yishun to drop off the other lady before she dozed back off.

Ten minutes later, she allegedly felt and saw the driver touching her right breast. When she stared at him, the driver merely mentioned "something dropped".

Woo has since made a Facebook post which was taken down (probably because of doxxing). From what we gathered, the driver has also made a report on her for revealing his personal details. Also, when asked whether he touched the girl, the driver did not make any response.

Woo also warned against people from falling asleep in the front seat in a ride hailing service.

John Low, 60 was alone, drifting in the sea for four days and three nights after the boat he was in capsized. Luckily for him, he managed to grab a ring buoy and his backpack which contained his passport and IC.

Low was alone on the boat waiting for the boatman to come back with more fuel to refuel the boat. However, the unpredictable weather turned bad and water started seeping into the boat. The boat sunk and when the boatmen returned, he was nowhere in sight, pulled away by the strong currents.

In the first few days, Low had to drink the seawater which made him vomit. To make matters worse, the heat from the sun charred his skin during the day. He even had to remove his clothes because he was hurting from the burns when he rubbed against the linen.

Low also had to swim around at night to keep his body temperature up as it was too cold.

Low then started to hallucinate from the dehydration and starvation. To keep himself sane, he started talking to his life buoy and Rolex which he named 'Boy' and 'Brother'.

Thankfully for him, on the fourth day of being out in the sea, he saw a ship. The ship's crew members spotted him and knowing that he was about to be rescued, Low finally allowed himself to drift off into unconsciousness.

After being rescued by the boat, Low was airlifted by an RSAF helicopter to Singapore General Hospital (SGH) where he spent a total of 7 days in the ICU.

According to witnesses, Low's skin was so badly burnt that it was stuck to the life buoy.

Fortunately for him, he managed to recover and is thankful for those who played a part in his rescue, calling them "angel saviours".

Hope that nothing like this ever happens to anybody again.
