In a freak accident that happened at the end of 2018, a strong gust of wind blew at the exact moment a construction worker was carrying a pipe and an SBS Transit bus was passing through, causing the pipe to swing towards the bus and and hit it.

According to a passenger on a bus, there was a loud bang as the pipe hit the window at the rear of the bottom deck of the bus. Fortunately, reports indicated that no one was sitting at the rear lower deck of the bus. All the passengers safely disembarked and was transferred to another bus, and no one was known to be hurt because of this freak accident. 

No news on what happened to the construction worker who carried the ill fated pipe. 

In yet another case of road rage that mirrors the first one that had Singaporeans in an uproar, a lorry has once again swerved to purposely hit another person on two wheels, this time a motorbike rider, after the rider aimed a high kick at the lorry's side view mirror.

This happened less than two weeks after a lorry driver and a bike rider was arrested after an altercation similar to this one in Pasir Ris. This latest incident took place at East Coast Road on the afternoon of the last day of 2018. In footage of the incident that has emerged online, it showed the lorry stationary by the side of the road, with the driver side of the door opened. A motorcyclist clad in all black subsequently approached the driver's side and slammed the door closed. Another rider approached the two, trying to calm things down. But before he could do anything, the black clad rider can be seen kicking the lorry's side view mirror, breaking it.

The lorry suddenly accelerates towards the two riders, and although no one was hit, the lorry can be heard screeching, and the black clad rider's motorbike can be seen falling. No word yet from the police about this latest incident.

IRVINS Salted Egg was shocked to hear that one of its customers found a dead lizard in a bag of chips. It assured people that it takes quality control very seriously.

"We really want to sincerely apologize to the customer and everyone who is affected by this incident directly or indirectly. We take full responsibility for the goods that we sell and everything in it. "

IRVINS does not have a full explanation as to why there was a dead lizard in one of its products, but it promised to get to the bottom of this and that it will not happen again. 

Customers who have any IRVINS product are discouraged from eating them if they are past the expiry date. Anyone who is uncomfortable eating their snacks can drop them an email for a refund. 

"This is a major blow to us, however we promise that we will fix this issue and continue to be an honest and responsible company to all of you. Rest assured that we are doing the best we could to serve our customers with the best quality & service nonetheless."

Will the salted egg lizard turn people away from them? Maybe not, but it does not change the fact that their quality control is miserable, given its emphasis on customers' safety.

A lady found a fried lizard in a packet of the popular snack Salted Egg Fish Skins from Irvins. The lizard looks like it was fried together with the salted fish skins. Will you just remove the lizard and continue eating the snack? :3

Facebook user took a video showing a boy allegedly taking a shit and wiping his buttocks after the deed is done on a grass patch just below his house. Now why would you do that? Were your toilets at home fully occupied? Still, I'm sure there are some public toilets nearby.

A high ranking ICA officer has admitted in Court that he obtained sexual favours from women who had been arrested for immigration offences. In return for the sexual favours, the ICA officer gave out confidential information about immigration raids to the women.

Staff Sergeant Chin Peng Sum, who is 51 years old, has been with the ICA for 20 years. He had met the three China women during the course of his work, when they were arrested for immigration offences. The women were on Special Passes while their cases were being investigated. It was during this time that Chin contacted the women and told them that he was in a position to know exactly when raids were being conducted. He also told the women that he can help them extend their Special Passes after their cases have concluded.

Chin received sexual services form two of the women for free, while keep providing them information so they could avoid arrest. Chin's communication with the women was only uncovered in May last year, when one of the women was arrested for vice activities. Chin has been suspended from his ICA duties since JUne last year.
