Many of us would remember the Trump Kim summit held in Singapore last June. It was apparently so "important" in Singapore's history that it went onto our Miss Universe Singapore's national dress.

Remember this horror?

Vietnam and Singapore are both viable options for North Korea as they have embassies here. Vietnam has expressed interest over hosting the summit and is also of flying distance for the North Korean plane, the Chammae-1, which is capable of flying a distance of 7000km.

The White House has also sent scouting teams to various other countries to inspect if the locations are suitable.

Would you want the summit to be held in Singapore again?

The parrot man, or his real name Zeng Guoyuan, was given a discharge amounting to an acquittal after he was earlier charged with assaulting two policemen. It was reported that all charges against him for the offence were withdrawn after the prosecution considered all the circumstances of the case.

The parrot man was only given a stern warning , and he will not be prosecuted in Court. He had been accused of grabbing and twisting Staff Sergeant Haider Yahya's right forearm at the Geylang Serai Market earlier that month as well as accused of kicking Sergeant Aloysius Aw Yong Zhao Lun's face and hands, causing bruises.

In the latest news of wild animals in Singapore, a 3-metre reticulated python appeared in a maisonette's toilet in Eunos. The incident happened on the morning of 30 December 2018. Goh heard screams from his wife at 6.45am after she spotted the snake. The python was coiled around a beam in the toilet.

Mr Goh and his family then called various agencies such as AVA and MPTC for help. However, MPTC told him to call a pest control company instead while AVA claimed that they would send help.

Meanwhile, they continued to call pest control companies and a team finally arrived at 8am. It took about 30 minutes to capture the python and release it into the wild. The snake was 3m long and about 10 cm in diameter.

Goh's family spent about 2 hours and S$400 on the ordeal. AVA claimed that they promptly responded to the sighting of the snake and a team was on the way to Goh's house when Goh's daughter called to say the snake had been caught.

Recounting the incident, Goh said "She said there was a huge snake in the toilet. I thought she was exaggerating or had mistaken something else for a snake." We wonder what could a 3m snake be mistaken for.

Leong Sze Hian Sues PM Lee for Abusing the Process of the Court

PM Lee has chose not to reply to the allegations of abuse of process of the court which had been leveled against him in the Defence. He has filed an application to strike out Leong Sze Hian’s Counterclaim. Leong Sze Hian in turn will also be filing an application to strike out Lee Hsein Loong’s claim on the basis of abuse of process.

Many are wondering why PM Lee isn't replying to the defence by Leong Sze Hian. Also, why is the state media not reporting on this? Lawyer and Leader of People's Voice, Lim Tean questioned this in his own Facebook post as well. You can read both Leong Sze Hian and Lim Tean's full Facebook posts below:

Hell hath no fury like a man scorned. A lovesick 28 year old Singaporean man, Mohamad Razli Abdul Razak, was found guilty of using criminal force on his crush, a 49 year old colleague of his.

Mohamad Razli was infatuated with the victim but his advances were met with multiple rejections.

Following one such argument, Mohamad Razli threatened to show his true colours.

The day after, he ambushed the victim and smeared his faeces around her mouth. In the struggle, the faeces also stained her face and body.

He was sentenced to a week's jail.
