A kid cutting up a shelter with a pen knife just went viral on the net. In the video, he was on the handrails and used a penknife to cut up the canvas shelter. He was also with a bunch of other kids with bicycles which seemed to support his actions. The kid was wearing a 'kamikaze' jacket. The kamikaze jacket is from a cycling group in Singapore callde Kamikaze Sprinters. However, the group has since clarified that the kid is not from their group.

After going viral, the kid decided to make a public apology on his Insta-story. You can read the full apology here:

Do you accept this apology? Why recently so many cyclists getting a bad name.

Is another bike sharing company in hot soup? In the latest new reports, ofo currently owes employees about $6500 in un-reinbursed claims. They have also moved out of their office in AXA tower, a month before their lease was up.

Ofo has also not been replying to users on their social media and emails who are asking for their refunds on their in app subscriptions before they wind up like oBike.

Reports also show that they owe about $700,000 to various vendors. One can only wonder what will happen to the company. Will everybody be able to get their money back? We truly hope so. Maybe these bike sharing companies have no place in Singapore. Besides, everybody is just out to throw their bikes in drains.

P.s. did you eralise that "ofo" actually looks like a bike. Today you learnt. You're welcome.

A woman claimed that she met a perverted Grab driver who made her feel disgusted. It is up to people to believe her story as she did not record any evidence of the encounter. Here it goes.

Her Grab driver picked her up at her block and after some cordial greetings, told her that she "must be the clubbing type". Thinking that he was being a charming personality, he proceeded to ask her about her job, where she works, if she is rich or needed money, her affairs and love life. He even offered to be her sugar daddy.

"I did say nicely its okay uncle no need for your fortune telling shit.. he still continue and then he said this 'you so young, alrd have a boyfriend, but I bet your boyfriend cannot keep you coz he don't understand you inside and out like me..gurl if u get to know someone like me uh, much more older than your boyfriend uh, I promise you, you will have a good life with me.. ' Then he started to keep on turning his back just to face me and look at me from head to toe and then smiling like a fucking creep.."

She was uncomfortable by his questions about her sex life but did not seem to bring the matter up to the Grab driver at that point in time.

"BUT WITH THE UNCOMFORTABLE-NESS IN MY VOICE.. YOU STILL TALK LIKE IT'S OKAY TO TALK LIKE THAT.. AND YOU EVEN TOOK THE CHANCE TO HOLD MY HAND WHEN GIVING BACK MY CHANGE NBCB DOG.. THIS IS SINGAPORE.. YOU DRIVE CAR, DOESN'T MEAN ITS HONDAVENZEL SHOWS THAT YOU'RE THE RICHEST IN TOWN.."

She belatedly wrote a Facebook post to expose him and warned that she will make a police report if she meets him again.

If this is true, be careful. If not, uncle will definitely get more than a 2-star review next time.

The Singapore Red Cross have said that they have received almost $80,000 in donations from Singaporeans in their efforts to give help to the tsunami victims in Indonesia's Sunda Straits.

The tusnami occurred last Saturday night (22 December), and has so far claimed 430 lives, left 1,500 people injured and thousands others homeless. The donation, which are in cash, will be used by the Red Cross to purchase relief items for the survivors, as well as aid in long term rebuilding efforts. This donation will carry on for one month.

Red Cross Singapore has also sent two of its officers to one of the worse hit areas, the Banten Province, to provide help. They are with 400 Red Cross staff and volunteers currently delivering medical services and supplies to survivors, cleaning debris and helping with search and rescue efforts in the provinces of Banten and Lampung.

How quick are our station staff when it comes to responding to situations? Just a few days ago, a commuter complained about a SMRT staff for reacting too slowly to her warning.

She was on her way to work when she spotted an unclaimed plastic bag on the train. She wanted to play safe and alert the staff about it when she got off, but the latter was so slow she had to take the suspicious item out of the train herself.

"As I was taking the escalator down, I noticed him casually strolling down, and upon reaching the bottom of the escalators, turning around, catching my eye, and then mulling over whether he should take the stairs back up. He decided against this, and walked to the lifts instead, and wait with the crowd to take a lift back upstairs to the platform.

Yeah, cause IEDs always wait until it's convenient for you bro."

What if it was really something suspicious? Why did the station staff underestimate the situation and take his time to reach her? Is this how they are trained? What's the point of telling people to alert suspicious items when the staff themselves are so indifferent about it?

"I know we tout ourselves as being "safest city" and all that jazz, but honestly, it's absolutely appalling behaviour given the current security rhetoric that we’re always hearing about. And maybe this is me being overly cautious but it is also indicative of the very blasé attitude of SMRT staff especially given the endless #SGSecure videos by Ministry of Home Affairs, Singaporewhere members of the public are proactive and eagle-eyed, and station masters quick to react when a capped-sunglasses-wearing-guy leaves behind a black canvas bag.

So SMRT I ask, not if but when will you be getting your act together? And when will you #StayAlert #StayUnited #StayStrong?"

A female police officer has been charged in court for allegedly forging a statement on behalf of a molest victim. In the forged statement, the officer, Senior Staff Sergeant Kalaivani Kalimuthu, gave the impression that the molest victim did not mid being touched.

As a result of Kalimuthu's forged statement, the molest victim was to be warned for making a false police report. However, just before the molest victim was to be warned, further investigations into the case revealed that the officer in charge had actually forged the victim's statement, as she could not meet the alleged victim, and that she wanted to wrap up the investigations quickly.

Kalimuthu had been interjected from the police force since September last year, and was yesterday found to be guilty of committing forgery. She will be sentenced on January 8 next year.
