A 52 year old man was reportedly taken to hospital after a fight broke out at a coffeeshop, S-11, in Taman Jurong on Sunday evening. In a video that has gone viral, about four men were shown to be involved in a fight.

A man wearing a striped t-shirt was seen throwing a punch at another man wearing a white t-shirt, sending him sprawling onto the floor and unable to get up. Another man in a sleeveless top with a knuckle duster on his fists then started kicking the prone white shirted man, while also raining punches on him. Another man in red was sitting on the steps, apparently unable to get up anymore. It was not clear what started the fight, but police confirmed they received a call for help at the location.

One man was taken conscious to hospital, while it is unclear if any arrests were made.

This is quite ridiculous. Acting on a tip off, the SCDF responded with a surprise fire safety checks at the Alexcier building in late February. The building is supposed to be an 8 storey multi use light industrial building.

Many assumed it was, after all, why need to lie, right? The lifts also stops on 8 floors only. There was no option for a ninth floor. However, this was all just an illusion. The lifts in the building also shows up to 8 floors only. When SCDF conducted their fire inspection, they discovered an entire floor hidden in the building. In fact, the ninth level was so well hidden, that access was only through special means.

Users have to go through in a specific office pantry on the eight floor. They then have to enter a number on a keypad on the wall. This will unlock a door, which is disguised as a display shelf. Finally, users go up two flight of stairs to find themselves in a 5,000 square feet room. This is cool, but illegal. SCDF said that action will be taken against the building owners.

A young grassroots volunteer, named as Roland Neo, who reportedly holds a treasurer post in a community club management committee, was alleged to have attacked an elderly dog owner, after the elderly man swung his leash at Neo's dog.

The elderly man, Mr Joseph Wee, 59, was walking his muzzled German Shepherd Nero to his home in Joo Chiat form Telok Kurau Park, when Neo's appeared and bit Nero's tail. So Mr Wee did the only thing he could, as he swung his dog's leash towards the other dog to shoo it away. But before Mr Wee could examine Nero's bleeding tail, he was struck from behind and sent tumbling to the ground. According to witnesses, Mr Wee was bleeding from the blow, and the man who struck him, Neo, was spoiling for a fight. he even challenged yet another elderly man to fight, after the man stepped forward to prevent the assault. Mr Wee sustained fractures to his tailbone.

At least 40 people witnessed the assault and when they wanted to call the police, Neo told them not to get involved. It was understood that the Neo was out on bail for other offenses when the incident took place, and the police was also informed of the latest assault, and investigations are ongoing.

An Indian banker who will be moving to Singapore has voiced her worries about not being able to find a job here. She is following her husband to our little red dot as he has been transferred here.

She thought that it would be easy for her to get a few interviews going as Singapore is a "wealth hub". Furthermore, she had knowledge and experience in the banking field. However, she was left devastated about the radio silence that greeted her job applications.

She was perplexed that none of the recruiters approached her as she has also expressed commitment to live in Singapore.

"I’m just hoping that when I actually land in Singapore, I’ll be able to speak to recruiters, because they’ll see that I’m ‘on the ground’. I think emails from overseas get deleted or ignored almost by default."

Despite all the hurdles, the Indian woman is optimistic about her move to Singapore as she will be able to earn much more once she really gets a job.

No, this is not good news as fellow Singaporeans all know that the Government loves foreign talents.

We are not sure about how stringent the rules are but one thing's for sure - she will be happy to know that she is favoured here.

What would you do with if you had thousands of dollars to spare? Fish hobbyists might spend that money on an Arowana that expensive to spruce up their aquariums. Nothing says 'chio' like a fish that has scales that glimmers with various different colors while swimming around your tanks. If you were to tell them you want to eat such a fish, you would probably be scolded by them.

However, a brave man decided to risk backlash from these fish hobbyists. He took to his Instagram and posted two stories, images (as seen above) of himself prepping to cook said fish as well as with the fish in the frying pan. The fish is allegedly $8,000.

What do you think of his actions? Is it a waste? Or would it be the most delicious thing you have ever tasted.

Do hospitals make you feel better or make you want to die more?

A man experienced severe chest pains complained about Changi General Hospital for not attending to him properly. He visited the hospital's ER in the middle of the night in January and spent the whole night under observation.

Then? Nothing.

So he was referred to CGH's cardiac clinic a week later.

Then? Nothing.

So he was recommended to go for treadmill and ECG test in March. That's 2 months later for someone who was having severe chest pains for many months.

When he tried to ask for an earlier date, he was rejected because they were "full".

Helpless, he eventually went to another hospital, NUH, 2 weeks ago. The doctors put him under observation and warded him. The next day, they found out that the poor man has his arteries 80% and 90% blocked respectively. He required immediate treatment via angioplasty.

The man underwent the procedure and got discharged the following day.

"What am I saying here?

If I had gone back to Changi Gen Hospital, I don't know what would have happened. I don't understand why the doctors in CGH could not find out what was the matter with me. what would they have done? Or kept me waiting again?"

There you go, this is the Swiss standard of living. Wait loong loong only.
