The insurance agent who tried to use Aloysius Pang's death to make money has "clarified" his actions.

Pretty sure he is twisting his own words. He was the one who told people to be insured with him, then flip flops and say that he is not an insurance agent. He started his Instastory post with "LOL" in response to Aloysius Pang's death, then says he has empathy.

And then he said he is actually someone who cares too much for people. Wait, what? Really? Does anyone believe him?

What kind of apology is this? What kind of person is he?

It seems like he is not sincere in his apology but fret not, netizens are already doing the job by flaming him on Facebook.

If he is an insurance agent, he can look forward to losing his job. If he isn't, it is about time he realised that he is quite the asshole. Oh, and that's nothing to be proud of at all.

A man who was jaywalking across a busy stretch of road was hit by a lorry that was changing lanes on Thursday morning at Jalan Besar. Police said they received a call about an accident at about 7:40am that day.

In a video circulating online showing the accident, the man was seen crossing the open road, which had a few vehicles on at that time. He was walking at a normal pace in the four lane road, when a lorry that was in the second lane suddenly veers to the right. The left side of the lorry then collides with the man, who fell face first onto the road.

Police said the 64 year old man was taken conscious to hospital, with pains in his hip and right shoulder. Police investigations are still ongoing.

In case you missed it, one over zealous journalist was probing too much into the death of Aloysius Pang. You can read more about it here:

Insensitive "Journalist" Probes Jayley Woo On Aloysius Pang's Death

The screenshot of it went viral on social media after local actress Hayley Woo posted it on her Instagram profile. On 25 January 2019, the supposed journalist who sent the messages admitted his mistake on two Instagram posts. Here is the first:

Roughly Translated:

Regarding the incident with Jayley Woo, the hurt I've caused her, I will personally apologize to her. While communicating with her, I was in a rush and did some things were not said clearly which caused a misunderstanding. I will personally explain everything to her.

Asking the loved ones of the victim for an interview is perhaps the most unpleasant part of being a reporter. Can't say I'm in experienced. Perhaps I messed things up this time.

And the second post continues:

Roughly translated:

One should take responsibility for their own actions. I will accept all the online criticisms directed at me but this has nothing to do with my family or colleagues. They didn't agree with what I did so please do not harm them. Or else you would not be any different from "me".

Also please do not start invading someone's privacy or other doing something illegal, in case you regret it. Some netizens have taken advantage of this drama to accuse me of some things which I did not do. I will only take responsibility for the things I have done. Sorry for any disturbances caused. Thanks.

Despite his efforts to make an apology, many netizens still continue to lambaste him for his actions. Well... at least he tried.

Singaporeans, remember never to buy insurance from this asshole. An insurance agent who went by Instagram @seanlw_y has earned the ire of netizens after using Aloysius Pang's death to make money. This is what he said:

"Lol sorry I can't grief for you because I really dk who the hell you are before the accident. Condolences to your family tho. But this serves as a reminder to everyone that accidents do happen. You can't really avoid God's plan so.. Get insured with me today before an accident leaves you dead with regret"

Sadly, it looks like he does not think that he was in the wrong. In an instastory post, he said:

"Yes. I use death to sell insurance and I'm proud of it. Society can judge but in my point of view, I'm just a person who will do whatever it takes. I use unorthodox ways and means, but if I achieve results..... WHATS IT TO YOU REALLY?"

He then has the cheek to tell people that they definitely need insurance.

For someone who has no heart, it is surprising that he took down his Instagram on his own accord.

For someone who has so many rolex watches, it is surprising that he desperately uses "unorthodox ways" to earn money.

For someone who is even more of a nobody, he should know that it is insensitive and stupid to make those remarks in light of another person's death.

And for this special someone, this special insurance agent, thanks for letting Singaporeans know that you are an ass whom they should never insure their lives with. Good luck.

IRVINS Salted Eggs chips have been hit with another unwanted incident, so soon after last December's lizard in their chips packet. This time round, a fried fly was found in another pack of IRVINS Salted Egg potato chips.

Last December, the local potato chips maker was in the spotlight after a customer complained that a deep fried lizard was found in its salmon skin snack, which prompted an investigation by AVA, and an apology from the company's CEO, Irvin Gunawan. However, barely a month after the apology,  another customer,  Malaysian by the name of Li Qin Fam posted on her FB "People had fried lizard in their chips, I had fried fly ? thanks IRVINS" along with a video and photos of the said packet and fly. According to her, the packet of chips had an expiry date of October 2019.

It was not clear if the packet of potato chips that had the fried lizard was the made in the same batch as the one with the fried fly. Irvins this time has not responded to the latest fiasco.

Jayley Woo was apparently together with Aloysius Pang for a number of years (undisclosed) until his death. She took to social media to rant and grief over her beloved boyfriend of many years. She has asked all media outlets to give her some space to grief and has put on her Instagram that she will not be entertaining any questions from the media.

However, some journalists are trying to push their luck. The twin sister of Jayley, Hayley woo, shared a screenshot on her Instagram showing the Whatsapp conversation sent by a "journalist". You can see the conversation here:

Not only was the "journalist" insensitive in the way he asked for more information, he also added in "aloy wont do that to me". We can only wonder which media outlet this "journalist" is from. How is this way of journalism acceptable? Some people need their space to mourn and yet here you are disturbing them while they are trying to grief.
