Five teens got themselves into trouble for what they would think was a funny prank. The five, aged between 16 years old and 18 years old, was arrested by the police after they were found hiding in Ikea Tampines after the store had closed for the day.

Police was alerted to trespass at the location in Tampines North at around 12:52 am on Sunday. Officers from the Bedok Police Division were dispatched and they located the boys and had them arrested. Police said the teens were hiding in the store after opening hours, but it was not known what they were doing there.

This could be a dare or a prank gone wrong, and the teens may face fines of up to $1,000 each.

A video of a very, very fierce woman attacking a man has been making the rounds on the Internet. In the video, the woman repeatedly spat at and hit the old man. The poor man was trying to wriggle out of her grasp but she was just too strong.

She kept pulling him back towards her and ended up stripping his top off him. The man was also seen with a badly ripped pair of trousers.

It is uncertain why the woman had so much hatred for the uncle or what caused her aggression, but both of them appear to be neighbours.

So this is the Singapore kampung spirit. Given her strength and ferocity, she could well be the next avenger.

Facebook user Eliza Faith Ong wrote on her profile on the evening of 27 Mar 2019. She wrote about her experience after mailing a collection of items from Japan which was meant for her sister who lives in New Zealand. Ong claims that the package contained only dried snacks and beauty products.

When she brought the package to the counter, she was interrogated by a grumpy old male counter staff who also warned her that she could not post any items that are in liquid form. She reassured the staff repeatedly that the package does not contain any liquid items and signed a customs declaration form.

She left after paying $54 for the package and expected the problem to end there. 1.5 weeks later, her sister received her package. However, her beautifully wrapped up gift was defaced by the staff. On the package, the staff wrote

*SUSPECT LIQUID ITEMS BUT CUSTOMER INSISTED TO SEND. AND FALSE DECLARATED

Ong said

If i knew i was going to pay so much to have someone accusing me of things that is untrue and even vandalizing my stuff, i would just gone to other reliable courier companies. This is unacceptable behaviour and I deserve an explaination.

Do you think it's acceptable for the staff of Singpost to vandalize packages like this? How would the recipient feel after seeing it?

Singaporeans staying mainly the eastern and northern part of Singapore have reported strong burning smells lately that have been compared as similar to haze. NEA have since clarified that the smells came from a landfill in south eastern Johor, which have later been extinguished.

However, the complains have kept coming in the months of February and March, and this was also due to other fires and hot spots in the region. This was also because the area in Johor is experiencing dry and hot weather.

However, NEA said that inter-monsoon conditions are expected in April, and thus, the rain it will bring will help to reduce the occurrence of burning smell. So, nature will take care of the problem, not a problem. Thank you NEA, for keeping Singaporeans safe

How would you feel if you had to wait over 30 minutes from your food delivery personnel for a trip that would probably only take 10-20 minutes? And when the delivery personnel is reaching, she misses the entrance into your carpark. Most of us would be hangry, and understandably so.

But what if, your delivery personnel is handicapped and is delivering your food on a motorized wheelchair? Would that soften your heart? This was exactly what happened to a Netizen, Shahril Jantan. He made an order for I-Tea bubble tea from Tampines which was to be delivered to him at his house at Bedok Reservoir. He claims that the delivery would normally take about 10-20 mins depending on the mode of transportation.

When the clock ticked past 30 minutes, he slowly became angry at the slow pace of delivery. It made matters worse when the delivery personnel missed his carpark. He was so frustrated he looked out of his window trying to spot the delivery rider. To his surprise, the delivery rider was on a motorized wheelchair and he rushed down to meet her. He was so humbled by the experience that he also passed all the cash he had in his wallet to the rider.

He hopes that the rider will continue to be an inspiration to able-bodied people around.
